After meeting up at Cartersville Airport and chating with some local pilot we flew the pattern a few times and decieded it was too cold and windy to fly on an empty stumach so we went to get lunch and headed back to hanger
gased up and set out for Rome airport we both had ower cameras so back by popular demand AIR to AIR photo's
Greg :D

Greg: Yep...that one Brian is talking about is close enough. It still seems weird to me looking over at another gyrocopter flying along side. They just dont look like they should fly.

Well my shots this time were not as good as I had hoped :( . We had a great day and got a visit in with the Pope in Rome for Kenny J. :D . The weather was pretty nice and the winds were not TOO bad.

In the first picture you can see Greg over my left sholder to the right of the control tube.

Fly Safe,

Hi Chris,
I was referring more to the composition of the photo... subject-to-background. Awesome shot. You really get a sense of altitude by how the trees are desaturated by distance in comparison with the vividness of the pilot's helmet. Really gives the image a sense of 3D.

Yikes! I don't think I remember the words. Maybe it'll be O.K. if I recite the first 2 chapters from the Rotorcraft Handbook instead.

It is time for you to get your machine back in the air Scott!! We thought about flying down to you but the winds were 20+ earlier in the day. Would have been ok going down but coming back would have been an all nighter....

Cool! Chris , we worked on Phil's 618 Air command on Sat while it rained all day, We got it just about all rewired.

I have mine all back together, new bearings in rotorhead, new heim ends on control rods, I need to get some fresh gas and a good preflight and hope for a nice calm day this week. The wind was rough here yesterday.

Next year I'm planning on camping out with everyone. Catching that early morning run would've been great.
