Powder coating

I have been thinking about powdercoating some parts, I found this info about heating aluminum, didn't specifically address a short period of time, like for powdercoating, but it is from a reputable source, and not just hearsay.

I've been having a lot of stuff off my gyro powder coated. It goes in the oven and gets heated to 400 degrees for about an hour. I would also be very interested in finding out about the effects of this heating over a short period of time.

It appears that the results with 6061 T6 over both 200 and 100 hours at 400 degrees are about the same. I wonder if time isn't the factor, but temp.
