Well, I managed to get in between the weather to get 1 short hop down the 3/4 mile runway with my new CLT kit installed on my AC.

It took of nicely and climbed out much better (around 45mph instead of the usual 55mph with the HTL).

Felt GREAT.... I never got a chance to take it around the pattern. hopefully next week, after the rain goes away!!!

Why are you messing with the prop? I wanted an equal comparison.....no cheating!

Yes, A good point... One of the reasons I switched props is that the CLT kit added about 10lbs-12lbs to the gyro and I would like a little more power for takeoff and climb-out - hopeing the newer prop will offset the weight with low end thrust. I've only got a 447, remember?

Once I get it all going, and feel good about it, I will put the 2 bladed back on. The 3 bladed is just a physcological safety device.

I do love the way it flys with my 2 blade 60"x38" though.
