I have no Idea why I'm not getting spark to the plugs. I was flying this motor on my two place I put on a single place and wired it up the same as before and nothing. So how do I know if the CDI are good or not?

I have looked at the kill wires and from what I tested and see they are open and good to go. Getting gas to the plugs just no fire. I wanded to bring it to BD to fly but not if this is a bad CDI. Something other than the CDI has to be going on. It has two of everything both would have to be bad at the same time not likely.

Anyone know how to test a CDI if it is good or not?

IF YOU ARE talking MC cdi . short 1 coil to ground and check the sprk in the plugs. do it inside the hangar to see the spark. If not hlod it in your hand and feel it. Then switch process this will let you know if is a coil or not.

Not a MAC but a MZ 202. it is set up like a duel cdi 503. I guess I will bring it down to BDs. and we can taer it apart and maybe fix it.

Funny thing is it should have never been running on the 2 place but some how it did. This motor runs grounded and to kill it you open the kill. I had it backwards the same as it was before but it worked then. I got it right now. I am getting some air in the fuel line and will have to play with that now.
