Hello again!
The UltraFlight Radio Show airs live on Tuesday mornings right here on
the web at http://www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00AM Eastern Standard
Time and 7:00AM Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to
hear it! You can also hear this show (and previous shows) at the show
archive. We make it convenient for you!
We've got some great folks lined up this week for your listening
pleasure, including:
> Ron Gonzi, The Ultralight Store.
Ron Gonzi has been involved in ultralights since the late 1970's when
Ultralights were just starting to get popular. Ron opened a business
where he made aftermarket sails for the then popular Ultralights,
primarily Eipper Quicksilver's and a few others. Ron is still making
aftermarket sail sets for a variety of Ultralight aircraft and has a
business called "The Ultralight Store" now located in Hemet California.
Learn about the making of dacron sail sets, and the things necessary to
know how to take care of these and when to dispose of then in order to
remain safe.
> Stuart Gort, Powerfin
As a prop manufacturer, Stuart Gort knows about as much as anyone about
propellors for ultralight aircraft. Stuart joins us to talk about the
best ways to attach your prop to your aircraft and make sure it stays
there.
> Greg Gremminger, Magni Gyro
Greg Gremminger talks more about power push overs, bunt overs, and
misconceptions about how they happen. Discussed is more of the physics
of why bad things can happen in gyros and more importantly, how to
avoid those things.
> Tom Olenik, Olenik Aviation
When the show is live, Tom Olenik is ready to answer your four stroke
and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Call them in at
(888) 514-2100.
> Jim Sweeney, NAPPF President and USUA Board Member
There are a lot of resources on the internet for pilot. Jim Sweeney has
put together a list of these resources which will keep you busy looking
and learning for a long time.
If you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any
of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when
we're live at (888) 514-2100. If you have a show idea or know someone
that could be a guest on the show (that could be you!) contact me at
<roy@easyflight.com>.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!
Roy
P.S. If you do not wish to receive further mailings from me, first
please accept my apologies, then reply and type 'Remove' in the subject
line. All removal requests will be honored!
