Just wondering why there seems to be a lack of 3 or 4 place gyros in the market. THere are plenty of fixed wing experimental aircraft with higher seating numbers, why no gyros?

I think the weight of a four-place may require more rotor than most experimental builders want to tackle. The Groen Brothers Hawk 4 has an all-up weight of 3500 pounds, and uses a 42-foot two-bladed rotor. Most people would probably want a three-blade with a smaller diameter, requiring lead/lag hinges, etc.
