well me and my partner nick took the dive. we purchased a sparrowhawk with the 2.5 engine... we are now impatiently awaiting the first delivery.. thanks to randy coplen of american autogyro of seattle for working with us and being patient with all of our questions. (we had a lot). the sparrowhawk is a dream to fly, i have taken a couple of lessons in a non clt raf, but it did have a stab, but this is so much more stable and comfortable..i didnt feel like i was playing catch up with the aircraft, and it had a very positive and reasuring feel to it. i didint feel like it was going to do anything wierd. at least from my perspective of only having a couple of hours total in a gyroplane.. thanks again, randy, nick and i look foward to working with you in the near future. :)

Pat and Nick,
Thank you for taking the extra time and driving the distance to work with us. You folks will be (already are) a great asset to the gyro community. There are now three SparrowHawks going together in the greater Salem, Portland Oregon area. I also have a partner in Bend Oregon, David Dressler, who has completed his SparrowHawk and is working on getting his 40 flown off. Thats four SparrowHawks in Oregon so far.
