Installed a new heater in the Sycamore. It makes for a comfortable flight even at 12 degrees OAT.

Craig seen the article about your gyro in the Pra mag. How do you like your machine? Would love to hear how it handles and it's stability.
Keep on flyin

Excuse me Craig, but your movie was a bit disappointing. We want to see movies of the Sycamore, not of Indiana landscape... ;)

Mike,
I'm really enjoying the Sycamore. Especially, now that I have some heat to keep my toes warm! While I was installing the heater, Chayair had told me that they were now installing a smaller radiator and changing the radiator confirguration. I took the opportunity to do the same. The bigger radiator was overkill and robbed some thrust by being so big and next to the prop. See photo. The Sycamore fits my needs very well. I didn't fit in many of the other two place machines comfortably (I'm 6'4" tall). It's enclosed, capable of cross country and for a two place gyro, stable yet, sleek looking.
Sorry Udi that the Newton Co. landfill and the winter mosaic of Rensselaer didn't do anything for you. My buddy who was running the camera wasn't quite dressed for the temps while I flew around. Next sunny day, I'll try and get something of interest for ya.
