Anyone know of a carb. I can use on my 72hp McCulloch? :confused:

I bellive its the 1940 holly, look in the engine threads , I believe there is a post on it already maybe Rick or Mike will step in here. Where has Rick been lately

Ben, The best carb for the Mac is the Holley 1940.The model 1920 will work but is more prone to fail because of vibration to the float.

Mark, I`m still around here now & then.I`ve got what i call the Daytona Shuffle (Bike Week)going on right now.This happens every year at this time!Everybody wants there motor rebuilt before Bike Week.

Youcan use the 1940 just remember that when you trailed your gyro keep fuel in the carb. Bensen recomendation was to run the engine dry so you dont have fuel for an extended period in the carb. This to prevent the deposits and any sludge due to a long storage period. But if you fly every weekend this is not an issue.
Now as CFM 1920 have more fuel flow vs the 1940. But I like the double float safety features.
