Been reading on this site here for a year now, with few posts. Now that I bought a Sparrowhawk, time to step up and say hi.

Glad to have so many knowledgeable people, although there were many posts I didn't show my wife in my attempt to sell her on the idea of the purchase.

Took a ride with Steve McGowan in Buckeye in the SH couple weeks ago. What a blast. and what a character. The question of whether my 7' structure would fit has been answered, so out went the checkbook, yikes what have I done  ! Met Rob Dubin, Terry Brandt. All in all a good weekend.

Not many gyro's here in Elizabeth, CO. Maybe others will take it up in the area, but so far all my friends want to do is to chip in on the life insurance.

Anyways, looking forward to many new experiences. Thanks for the info from many of you.

Brent - congratulations on getting a SH. Did you buy the 2.5 engine option? I hope you would get good performance at 5000 ft. Bill Clem is not far from you - Bill keeps his Dominator at Front Range. I am flying in Fort Collins, although I don't have a gyro at the moment. I would be really interested to know how your SH performs up here.

Regards,

I did get the 2.5 option. Hopefully will get decent performance. Sounds like there are some different cam options to boost even more. We'll see!
