Rudy,

I have a simple hoist that attaches to my flatbed trailer I use to haul "Ruby", my CLT modified RAF. I will errect it tommorrow and send you pictures. Simple, easy to put up and take down and works great.

Randy,
I appreciate the help. Don't go out of your way to assemble the hoist just to take pictures of it. I'm in no hurry to build one, I won't need it until next spring.
I fly a RAF with a Praham stab & trailer my gyro about 3 or 4 times a year to different chapter meets.
I usually have help installing them, but hate to bother folks.

Gary, is that a dual use trailer? RV up front with a cargo compartment in back for your gyro? Your hoist looks simple enough.

:) Hi, Just an idea for you. Any good muffler shop has tubing and can custom bend the arc for you. I have not made this yet.

Whirlydog, sorry it has taken me so long to answer your question. My trailer is 24 ft long, and is where I built my gyro. Once it was completed, I put in a dividing wall up front and made a fold-out bed to sleep on. My son and I took it to Arlington WA. flyin two years in a row. The gyro rides in the back 14 feet and we get the rest of the room up front.
For poles I used cyclone fence rails and some hardware to mate the pieces together.
