Check it out.

Let's support our ultralight rotorcraft by signing up for a free issue. Even if you don't get a subscription at least we will be showing people we are out here!

Anyone interested in gyrocopters and looking for more information than what the PRA provides should subscribe to Homebuilt Rotorcraft Magazine. I just subscribed and got 12 back issues. I now want to go back further. I only wished that I had been reading this for at least the last 10 years. I really am enjoying it. For 24.00 a year (US) it is a bargain.

Thanks Don Parham for such a fine magazine!!

I have been reluctant to plug our magazine on the forums but here is the information for those interested. We have been "covertly" publishing Homebuilt Rotorcraft magazine since October 1988.

The magazine consists of 24 pages (except annual directory issue is more) Cost is $24 per year in the US, $30 in Canada and Mexico, and $38 elsewhere for surface (boat) and $50 for airmail. Visa & MasterCard accepted.

I signed up for the free issue of Ultraflight. I checked the box to tell them my interest was in rotorcraft, so I figured they'd send me an issue with a gyro related article in it. About four or five months later I finally got an issue, and it was full of mostly powered parachutes, and a few trike articles. The only gyros were in the little ads in the back of the magazine.

Ultralights fixed wing or rotorcraft still have many things in common and share much when it comes with dealing with the GA world.

Personally, I have found helpful information from magazines and clubs that are not gyro specific.

It is my opinion, that for our sport to grow we need to take advantage of and contribute to the periodicals and resources that are now dominated by non-rotorcraft ultralights, PPC, PPGs and anything else that fly’s outside of GA.

It is also my opinion that gyro's just plain kick butt and if there were greater exposure the sport would take off just as much as the rest of the light sport - PPC - trike - PPC - FW ultralight community has. This increase in growth would make parts and gyros cheaper and bring more resources into the sport such as CFI's.

I have joined EAA, USUA and others and so far Ultralight Magazine is the only one that even recognized that I fly a rotorcraft. Many times it seems they assume I fly a trike, PPC or FW ultralight.

Therefore, if you have interest in such things it will only cost you a few moments to sign up no $$ and you might even see a few Rotax ads that interest you!

Don, did you ever get my money? It seems that it has probably gotten lost in the mail.

Could you furnish me with your bank details so that I can transfere the amount directly.

I really enjoyed the ones that you sent me, and I should have followed up the money issue further when the first envelope came back!!!!

Aussie Paul.

Don I want back issues too but this is how we will do it. I will send you a certified check for 261,785.40$ Then you deduct the amount for the issues. Then you send the balance to my agent to handle the shipping and delivery issues. How does this sound?

I will need your bank information as well

Thanks,
