Hello again!

The UltraFlight Radio Show airs live on Tuesday mornings right here on
the web at http://www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00AM Eastern Standard
Time and 7:00AM Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to
hear it! You can also hear this show (and previous shows) at the show
archive. We make it convenient for you!

We've got some great folks lined up this week for your listening
pleasure, including:

> Dale Hooper, USUA
Ultralight Insurance is becoming a big issue for pilots wanting to base
and fly out of GA airports. USUA has worked to provide insurance for
the ultralight community. Learn more from Dale Hooper.

> Joe Norris, EAA
The details of getting two seat and fat ultralights FAA certified will
become a big issue as Sport Pilot gets closer. Joe Norris joins us to
talk about Phase I operational limitations and whether a builder can
fly the first 40 hours of flight off as a student pilot.

> Scott Hughes, Flying 101
Scott Hughes sponsored a contest for the best essay on flights
experienced on the 100th anniversary of powered flight. Scott tells us
about some of the stories that were submitted and names the winners.

> Tom Olenik, Olenik Aviation
When the show is live, Tom Olenik is ready to answer your four stroke
and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Call them in at
(888) 514-2100.

> Jim Sweeney, NAPPF President and USUA Board Member
With Ultralight Insurance now available, one of the requirements is to
be an ultralight 'pilot'. Jim goes over what an Ultralight Pilot is,
how to become one, and how that differs from other ratings both in and
out of the FAA system.

If you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any
of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when
we're live at (888) 514-2100. If you have a show idea or know someone
that could be a guest on the show (that could be you!) contact me at
<roy@easyflight.com>.

Hope you get a chance to listen in!

Roy

P.S. If you do not wish to receive further mailings from me, first
please accept my apologies, then reply and type 'Remove' in the subject
line. All removal requests will be honored!

I used to listen to the show, it is good. But for some reason I can't get the show to play anymore on my computer. I never get it live so I try to listen to the Archives with no luck.

Ron,

Make sure you have at least 20% free hard drive space on C:

Then you will want to defragment your drive.

If you would like directions on how to do this just tell me what operating system you have.

Being low on drive space causes lots of slow-downs on PC's. Macs too but not as bad.

Don't know, I don't have alot of stuff on my computer, and I have no problems opening media elsewhere.

I have a pc and run Windows Xp.

XP is the best OS to have on a PC right now so that is really good. If other streaming media is working fine then the problem is likely not in your computer.

If you open MY COMPUTER and click on ( don't open or double click ) the C drive it should display on the left side of the screen how much space used and free you have. You should keep at least 500meg to 1 gig free.

If you have plenty of space next I would go to :

START -- ALL PROGRAMS -- ACCESSORIES -- SYSTEM TOOLS --> DISK DEFRAGMENTER

Then click the ANALYZE button. It will give you a recommendaton.

Should you decide to defragment quit all programs and let it run over night. If you know how to put your computer into safe mode run it that way.

I hope that helps. If not maybe going to the radio site during off-peak hours might help.
