It is a Magni M-21. See it on thier web site:

http://www.magnigyro.com/English/m21.htm

However, it looks like the model shown on the web site has dual rudders and tail booms like on my gyro. I wonder which they will be using (single or dual tail)?

'21 is twinboom. This Brazilian gyro seems more likely to be M16JE.
Showed at the attached picture is the gyro of French Magni dealer - Eric Changeur, sitting in the backseat.
BTW, PTkay, the guy in front seat is a Polish student getting his license this summer.

Alex,

do you know anything more about this Polish student ?

This Brasilian gyro really looks like M-16, but if you look carefully, they have a nive, aerodynamic cover over the engine.

Is this an option for M-16, or amybe it is really a mix M-16 and M-21 ?

Paul,
His name is Tomek, he visited me in Moscow last winter for a demonstration ride, but the weather wasn't lucky for him. He is travelling much due to his job - France was one of his travels. He also wish to visit PolishCopter soon. I can give him your e-mail address if you wish to contact him. Drop me few lines by e-mail.

That is the GESPI 2000 made in Brazil, Magni licensed (maybe revoked)
it is very expensive even for USA market.
I've spoken briefly with the manufactures about 2 years ago, do not know actual status and directions they going to . . .
People say it is nice and I believe it has the Magni records for performance and craftsmanship. ::)
There seems to be only one model that is popular and still been built in Brasil and that is the AC4 two seater, the expertes around here all had the same reaction to the pics: Yikes!!! :o
Thanks

Paul, Ken, and guys:

Here's some more stuff from their web page, translated from the Portugues to English in my own meathead style:

http://www.gespi.com.br/gp_aplic.htm

Typical Applications for the GP-2000

GP-M2000 : developed for military missions such as these: border patrol, aerial surveillance of activities, and other special missions.

GP-A2000 : used for crop dusting, offering operators low cost, safety and versatility.

GP-C2000 : an economical option for locating forest fires, civil defence, inspection of high tension lines, checking maritime pollution, pipeline inspection, executive transportation and other applications, including sport flying. (literally 'amateur sport').

Buy the original Magnigyro instead of a quick fit copy.
The original has 20 years manufacturers experience you cannot see, but notice once you own one.

Jos
The Paturi (mallard) is from my home town Bauru in the heart of Sao Paulo State.
The original manufacturer Jose Ribeiro, died of a heart attack getting ready to take off and I don't know if anybody has taken up production.
That address still in Bauru, but I never heard anything about it when I was living there.
thanks
