Well went down to Twin Lakes Airpark for our club get together today. 120nm each way, had a 15-20 mph headwind going and only about 5-10 tailwind on the way back. Not a cloud in the sky but kind of hazy. Was a good flight once I got my plane started. Oil was so thick in the old Lycoming that it could have been mistaken for frozen maple syrup! Had to hook up jumper cables to get her going as the poor battery just wouldn't turn it over.
Anyway here is some pics from the flight down - and back
Pics 1-3 is views of Lake Murray which is a huge lake just northwest of Columbia South Carolina
Pic 4 is The airport at Edgefield county south carolina, home of the Trenton Flyers ultralight club, I flew over and landed there to meet a few of the guys who were going to fly over to Twin lakes for our gathering Go check out their web site www.trentonflyers.com

Ron, you obviously didn't wear thermals, resulting in a smooth flight. If someone can sleep while you fly, it just means they think you're a good pilot!
(Or don't know any better. ;^)

It may have been the high levels of stress of having to fly with me that by that point resulted in total exhaustion..... ;)
