Here is a video that I took a few days ago. The camera is mounted solidly to the cabin. I reach over my left shoulder and press the start recording button. You can see me let go of the stick and it drops out so I have to pick it up and refit it. I hope that son Matt has arranged it so that the download is not too long but some quality is left!!!!

The bottom left corner is the shoulder harness holding the 5 gallons of concrete.

I will lower the position of the camera so that the horizon can be seen. That should be better.

Thanks Paul, for taking and posting the video. It really helps to see it. Your gyro seems to fly very steady without the stick shake seen too ofter on most gyros.

Thanks Ken. Yes the pic is worth a 1,000 words.

I will get the camera set up better so that the horizon is in view. I want to be able to run a video camera all the time I am testing. Then I can edit out the bits not needed.

That video was taken with a digital still camera that can take short video shots. Looks like I will have to invest in a dedicated digital video camera. This gathering of data on video is very important for proof of what we say is happening.

Ok re the shake, yes it is smooth, particularly when you consider that the camera is mounted directly to the cabin and the cabin directly to the airframe without rubber cushioning.

Us good old Aussies are battling away down here producing, I think, some great rotor blades. Most difficult to think standing on our heads all the time!!! LOL
We are not happy yet but we are improving all the time.

I cannot wait until I get to fly the Sort copter rotor blades that are due in Melbourne in the next month or two. It seems that all the accounts from you guys, that this is what we have to beat.

Anyway, I am getting a lot of enjoyment out the testing and experimenting, as well as sharing it with everyone.
