Hi
The first Cavalon to be registered in the UK on 26th October 2011 as G-CGYX ( c/n RSUK/CVLN/001 ) - the gyro is registered to the importers ROTORSPORT UK LTD.
A request for a CAA Permit was made on 1.11.11 with an "expected date of procesing" shown for 25.11.11 - hopefully it will then be "chocks away".
Cheers

It's a very nice looking machine.
The shut-lines look a lot thicker than the M24, though...
I trust it'll be at the Flying Show (http://www.theflyingshow.co.uk/home) next weekend?
I keep hoping for the day one of the manufacturers, rather than copying each other's designs, will take gyros to the next level and produce a 4-6 seater.
All the best,
Clive

Clive,
GBA already designed the machine you are describing. It was a 4 passenger, turbine powered, jump capable, Gyroplane. (definatley next level) But it was also expensive and they weren't able to sell the machines to anyone. Check out the Hawk 4 on youtube and you will see many videos of them flying. It was a great machine but with that capability, also comes cost. We tend to want to have everything but we usually aren't willing to pay what it costs to have it. There has got to be a market for it and while there are many that still dream of this concept, it has yet to be proven to be a viable market. I wish them all luck as I would love to see them be available.
GBA is making sounds about a new machine being offered soon, but no one is confirming anything so we just need to be patient and see what happens. I believe 2012 will be an exciting year for Gyroplanes.
