My new camera mount worked great for pictures, but I thought it would shake to much for video. Well... I was wrong. A good friend of mine coined the phrase… Dirt Bike in the Sky (Thank you team Biser) It’s so true.
I put this little trailer together doing some fall flying.

Doug- That is hands down the best gyro video I have seen. You cant beat that stand back vantage point.......that would be one heck of a promotional video or SportCopter.

Thank you Jim and Jon.
I was truly not expecting that...
Every time I get into my little Hot Rod I have a blast, just like everybody out there that has a gyro no matter what make.... We all do the same thing in our own comfort level.... Some just enjoy the freedom of flight and some of us are balls to the wall. Believe me it's all good.....

I just hope that the video shows people in some small way that don't fly gyros what it feels like to fly one..

Jim and his company does such a great job on the design and the engineering of Sportcopter, it's truly a dream to fly. I am amazed on the quality and workmanship that Jim and his staff puts into all of there gyros.

Again thank you and I am sooooo honored.

Doug,

A really cool movie...I always tell people that ask about gyro's that it's like a"motorcycle in the sky."

Like someone said above....another one....and longer!!!

Doug,

I know this is not the subject of this thread and I don't like hijacking either but I'm fascinated by the technical aspects of your video.

Was thIs created on a Mac using iMovie or an iPad?

I'd like to discuss this further with you. Please PM if you are interested in sharing some of the technics used during the creation of your video.

Hello Tommy
I used my Mac and iMovie. In iMovie there are some formats that you can use to create trailers. You just need to customize them the way you want them to turn out.
If you want to PM me that Ok.

I only have an iPad, not a Mac.

There must be limited functionality on the iPad as there is no way to create such artistic credits and text on my iPad that I can find.

Oh well....... Thanks anyway!

Yeah the iPads are very cool and they do a lot but you need a mac to create the trailers. Once they are created you can download them to your iPad.
