If I have a very long post, I usually compose it in Word then copy it to the post. I do this for a couple of reasons, one, I cannot spell, two, gives me more time to think and possibly avoid saying things I shouldn't have said.
The problem is that when I copy and paste, it takes any word that has a (") or (') in it and scrambles it into something like (#1234;). And then I have to fix each one. It's no real problem, just a hassle. Anyone know what the problem is, other than my spelling?

Larry,

Not to fight against Word and it's formatting tricks you can simply use WordPad or NotePad text redactor instead which is standard part of any Windows.

Larry,

WordPad and NotePad have no spell check.

The other idea is to use the Outlook editor you use
for e-mails. The spell check there is not so nice like Word,
you have to run it off line, but Outlook certainly does no "scrambling" ;)

The other idea is to ask the Admin here to add some SpellCheck
funcion to the PostEditor (I think I have seen such function on the
FlyGyro! forum)

BTW, have same problems like you... ;D
