OK, OK, I know...the meeting was almost a month ago. I have had issues that prevented me from completing the edit and posting the video from the last meeting. But here it is, finally:

PRA Chapter 56 Sept 3, 2011 Meeting - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM-WLBta9pI)

I must say that there was a lot of good flying going on, and I had to choose carefully from a lot of good video. This video features Robert Rymer and his Super-MAC/Bensen, John Prock and his MAC/Bensen, Gary Weaver and his drop-keel Air Command and George Goff flying his "Home Brew" gyro.

We met this time at the EAA clubhouse at RMG on the somewhat desolate East side of the airfield. The venue is an old KOA site (w/restrooms and showers still operational). We may try to arrange a combination EAA/PRA Chapter 56 fly-in at some point in the not too distant future.

I like the looks of the Air Command with tall tail.

Tim: Yep, that's Gary Weaver's machine. It'll be at Wrens this weekend.
Billy: You were missed, sir. Next time.
Giorgos: John Prock's MAC runs as smooth as any I've ever heard. Maybe a tie with Dave Prater's. One thing Chapter 56 has is MAC/Bensens. Two more that normally fly weren't there this time. I really didn't do justice to Robert Rymer's SuperMAC/Bensen. He flew further away from where we were and most of the video I had for him was just a little dot.
Ed: I haven't touched the Bulldozer since the crankshaft incident other than disassembly. For that matter, I haven't flown anything at all since then. I suppose I'll probably begin the rebuild sometime after Christmas. Maybe Santa will have a geared re-drive for my stocking. :)

Jon,
Great job with the video, great flying, and a great day to be there. The EAA site seems like it will become a good place for the Rome PRA Chapter to be meeting at. Looking forward to our Christmas get together.
