Yesterday I did my first Xenon training - x-country flight.
We flew to an event app. 200km, which took us
by slight wind 1h40m there and 1h40m back.
Not bad for a standard GII Xenon with fixed pitch prop.
We used app. 70l of fuel, so it was safe flight on one tankful.
We flew West along the A2 motorway passing the Baranów Airfield
which I posted some pictures of on other threads.
Some images enclosed.
Enjoy.

We went to the airfield in Michałków, near Ostrów Wielkopolski. (EPOM).
On the way back we had some problems with the paragliders,
occupying the airfield in the evening calm air.
We landed successfully at dusk.

Very nice pics. Looks like home :)
You're flying from the left, too? Most Xenons are rigged that way. I would think, having the stick in tje right is more natural. It probably depends on what you are used to.

Thanks, Kai.
Die Mitteleuropaeische Ebene. Flach wie ein Tisch. :)
Yes, I fly left now, the new training machine is configured
this way. I flew right before, but it was awkward.
I was used to fly FW left seat, so the first hours right seat in Xenon
were really strange. Although in my Rallye there was dual throttle,
so from the left seat I was flying with the stick in the right hand.
Anyway I have to build up new habits, fighting the old is hard.
Especially being used to toe brakes, makes me push hard on both
pedals when holding on the ground. :)
