I, like many of you, discovered this forum through a web search. I really like what I've seen so far. Everything is new to me. I'm just starting out. I bought what I believe to be a Benson B8M and I think it's probably going to need allot of work, time and money before it flies, but I'm determined to get there. I'm a native Floridian, 45 Yrs Old. I'm a Desktop Computer Tech for Campus Crusade for Christ world headquarters here in Orlando. My passions up to this point have focused primarily on Computers and Electronics. I'm good with mechanics as well, but I know I'm going to need a lot of guidance to get this bird right. I'm looking forward to interacting with folks who've already traversed this path. Let me thank you in advance for all the experience shared here. Attached is a picture of my Gyro as it is today.

Welcome Robert!

You will find lots of help here, just ask!

Looks like you have a great project to work on! One quick note if you don't mind me butting in... You should include the addition of a horizontal stablizer in your finishing plans for your Benson.

I started with a gyro in about the same configuration.
