Hi all its me the missing link. I never log on anymore but thought I should share this one.

Last week after a very pleasant ride on my awesome (and so powerful I still haven't had the cojones to open it up all the way!) Soob powered ride..... I was all through and rolled it back into the hangar (having just outran a huge storm cell).

The last thing I always do is cover the rotor head. I do this by climbing monkey like up onto the rear seat. To get down I hold onto a cross brace from the mast that goes to the frame, extent my left leg - hop/fall to the mains tire and then bounce from that to the ground. This time when I dropped those final ten inches off the tire, my foot folded under itself and I heard what sounded like a 4 inch tree branch breaking. Huge pop. :lalala: I tried to 'walk it out' but after 5 minutes there was a huge black and blue lump that hurt!!!!!

I fractured my foot in three places and am in a cast with my foot in the air for 6 weeks.:violin:

There are those here who probably are enjoying this to this point (yes there arrrrre!), to the others I stand on the mount and yell into the great abyss as the Oracle, the harbinger of doom, a geomancer, your sad prophet.....

Be careful because apparently its not falling out of the sky that is the danger - its the last ten inches stepping down!!!!:whip:

Snickers or your well wishes.... thanks in advance. I wont be checking. :boom:

Man I miss using these little gay emoticons! :humble:

Get well soon Bob.

Perhaps you should post more often.
So it was as bad as 10" HTL.
Now you will post often and enjoy the forum more.

Take good care of your self and be very careful.

Best Wishes.
Rehan

I know that sound well.
I did it playing T-ball with my sons when they were little.
I stepped into a hole that was maybe 2 inches deep.
The sound was unforgettable.
To me it sounded like ripping canvas.

Robert, so sorry to hear about your mishap. I hope you heal soon. From your title I thought you had a run in with some kind of poisonous snake. Are you able to fly with your cast on? Just kidding. :tape:

Say hi to Joaco for me. My wife still talks about the great visit we had.
