Reading this morning’s preliminary accident reports it would seem that an RAF 2000 N25VK has been destroyed near Decker, Indiana.
It is reported that on a simulated engine out landing the rotor struck the ground.
There were no fatalities and the preliminary reports don’t list injuries.
The aircraft is registered to Illiana Aero LLC in Vincennes, Indiana.
Thank you, Vance

Illiana Aero LLC seems to be associated with John Snider who has a gyroplane CFI rating.
He apears to be registered on the forum as John Snider and has made no posts.
I wish him well.
Thank you, Vance

John is an excellent pilot in both Gyro's and Heli's. Hard to believe he made a mistake. Guess we'll just have to wait for more information. Glad there were no injuries.

Colton Harris Moore, aka "The Barefoot Bandit," preferred trashing more expensive aircraft. He got a plea deal that will send him to federal prison for 6.5 years, and faces about 40 more charges in lower courts, some involving a firearm, which could put him away for much longer than that.
There's supposedly a deal in the works for a movie, and the proceeds would be used to pay for some of the $1.4 million in damage he caused.
His excuse: He dropped out of school and was abused as a child.

Poor guy!
With that excuse they should just cut him loose.
He's obviously the victim here.

John Snider posted on the mosquito website that him and his student are fine, after practicing a simulated forced landing.
