Well, the moment I find one available someone else beat me to the punch and no one else has one available??? I am looking for the basic single bearing head and a two bearing head.....no prerotor or ring gear...come on guys someone has to have a old head lying around........it does not even have to be airworthy, it is for design experiments not flying......

I have a 2-place rotor head from a SnoBird tandem available. When I went to the Sportcopter blades I switched to their head.
I have it buried in the hangar somewhere. But with it being rather cold out, I'm not sure when I be out there to try and look for it.

Dave,
Somewhere out in the hangar I have enough parts to make two new Soma heads... I think. They came as spares when I traded the Avid Flyer for the Soma. I'll try and find them next time I get out there. It may be a while. The Tripacer is down for it's annual and things are white hot busy here are the church. If I remember right they need nuts/bolts/washers and the sleeves the bolts go through. I think it was John Landry who shared with me that those are pretty much standard items. Threw the box of parts under the counter and forgot about them till just now.
