Does anyone know the secret for getting hold of someone at Air Command? Is the company still operating? They haven't responded for a week to voicemail and e-mail, and I was even clear about intent to actually buy a product listed in the catalog section.
The website appears to have been last updated in 2006. I thought I remembered someone else asking this a while back, but couldn't find the thread.
Thanks!

It's been a month or so, but I just call when I need to order. I need some stuff and will try on Monday and post what happens.

I haven't tried recently, but I've never had an issue getting parts and manuals. I suggest you send a FAX to 903-527-3805 with your order. Always works for me. You can email them at aircmd@aircommand.com. Obviously you have their phone number, 903.527.3335
Good luck! BTW, what are you looking for, Paul?

I wanted to know if the CLT conversion kit for a single-place was in stock, or subject to a delay. I've tried that e-mail and phone, no reply.
Let me see if I can remember how to send a fax...

you can save yourself a bundle of dough doing it from raw materials. I think my entire tandem CLT mod cost $300.00, and when it was done the CFI who inspected it said it looked like a factory build. A single place mod would be even less than that.

I think it's best to call them early in the morning. I've never had a problem at that time. They open at 7:30. I talked to them this morning and also asked about CLT kits, which they have. It would be a short delay to assemble the kit and then ship it. The number and email are good.

I need some AN parts and looking to start a modified tandem project.
Hey Paul,
The two guys that run the place are John and Doug. They have been very helpful with me on swaping out a 447 for a 503. If you call and they don't answer, don't talk to the answering machine - call back later. They are busy and call-backs are iffy. Their posted number (903) 527-3335 has always worked for me. Good luck.
Bill

I did get an e-mail reply, (eight days later,) and it answered my questions. Thanks!

Paul, the economy is slow down here in the South, sometimes a fellow has to slow down his business so he don't over run the economy.
