I am in the market for my first gyro. I would like to purchase a Sport Copter Vortex or a Monarch Butterfly. I would like a nice, clean one that is already built. Any ideas on how to find one?
Thanks!

There are a couple of them in the "FOR SALE" section of the forum now.
We track almost all of the machines we sell, so if you do buy used, we can usually give you a history of the machine.
One of the machines for sale is here, built and will be tested by us before it leaves. If your interested, call the shop: 503-543-7000

Thanks guys! I have spoken to Tina about her Vortex. I was taking lessons in TN before having to move to Charleston last month for work. Now that I am here, I can't find an instructor close to me. I am guessing I will have to wait on purchasing hers.

Josh, "an instructor close to me" is a highly relative term. In gyroplanes, having one in an adjacent state is closer than most of us get!

Josh, most of us had to travel for lessons. I took vacation and traveled to Macon, GA to train with Steve McGowan. It's best to break it down in 2-3 day trips. If you've already been training it shouldn't take you more than a couple trips (depending on your current skill level and learning ability, your training may vary). You are still closer to instructors than a lot of people. Don't let that slow you down.
