I had received ideas from several people of how to go about adding more fuel and here is what I ended up with.
Order a 22" x 8" tank from Coyote-gear.com. Should be about 4.5 gallons.
Relocated the battery to the space between the mast and the seat tank. No problem fitting it in place but, now all the wires were about 5 inches short. Took a little messing around but easy enough to resolve.
Used Adel clamps and aluminum angle to fasten tank brackets to engine mount tubing.
Still a couple of little details to finish. Figure I'll go through a couple dozen zip ties creating stand-offs for the fuel lines so nothing rubs through. I also need to come up with a solution for the radiator tube rubbing on the tank.
Over all, I like the way it turned out. Maybe next winter I'll pull the tank and have it powder coated yellow or black to match everything else.
