The UK CAA kindly publishes data on recent aircraft registrations - I keep an eye on this and will try to keep you in the picture as to what types of gyros and how many are being added to the UK register - hopefully over time some patterns may emerge.

Irrespective of the manufacturer / type etc - it's great to see the increasingly popularity of gyros in the UK :-)

Hi Steve, are these new gyros only or does it include registration transfers of existing machines? Thanks.

Hi
These are new build, newly registered.
Here in the UK the CAA makes all this data publically available -a great boon for research. Planes - Helicopters - Gliders and Gyros are all together under one CAA register hat.
see

Jeff - can you help me with an Australian query - the ASRA is less than forthcoming with a copy of the current Australian Gyro register and don't answer queries I send them - that's a shame.
If you are able to help with a couple of specific Aussie Gyro info requests then please do get in touch via the personal message system - thank you.

Tom, it would be great to see more about the Monster Gyro project. I thought it must have faded away a couple years ago.
Will plans ever be available for other chapters that might like to take on a similar group project?

Paul,
It is our intention to offer the plans gratis, like the Gyrobee plans. We plan to have a WIKI style forum thread where proven mods can be uploaded as options. Since the "Monster Gyro" is close to a Falcon in design, it has a reasonable enough service history.
The original working drawings blew off a table in the hangar, down the apron and into a drainage ditch. One of our hard working members, Larry Z. was diligently converting measurements to CAD drawings........... until he started making a gyro for himself.
Larry has been busy receiving flight training and doing runway flights in his new machine.
I'll bet we can get him back on track documenting the "Monster Gyro".
