The white color will be one more standard color for Genesis since many liked it and all comments were very positive. (Nicolas
was right)
The photos are from the checks and hard flight test before delivery. This procedure is done to all Genesis gyros before leaving the factory .

From above photos you can also see that the weather is perfect for flying here in Cyprus right now, and not only, but for year round.
One more small detail is that with so many instruments and not one cable hanging or seen in the cockpit.
Samuel is Nicolas helper with electronics. He has studied electronics and computer science.

That is a clean instrument setup. I like it.
I also like the control levers.... obviously one is for throttle. The other two are pre-rotator and rotor brake controls?
I'm still trying to decide what color / paint scheme for my G1sa, but the white one does look sharp!

One more detail that I just noticed.... this gyro has a split linkage on the control rods. Is this going to be the standard going forward, or is this a one-off for this particular gyro?
What are the pros and cons of going with this arrangement?
Thanks, Gary

Good catch. I just emailed Nicolas for more info as well. I like that. Would be preferred if you split the mast. Still deciding on that one.

Brian,
I like it, in that by removing 4 bolts at the bottom of the cheek plates, and two at the split linkages, you can easily remove the cheek plates / rotor head. Since I'm going with the electric pre-rotator, this should be easily accomplished when needed.
That should make it short enough to go in my garage or trailer, WITHOUT having to split the mast.

hello Guys.
I am very busy this week......... Have to ship this out on Tuesday.
Split linkage on walking beams was necessary for this gyros as the engine has the starter at the back (starter is between mast and left linkage).

I'm going with mech prerotator so that would get mighty old and cumbersome for me over time. Guess I'll have to wait and see it in person. Face to face, maybe I'll get an "aha moment."
There is also one other MAJOR factor in using the two piece control rod, greatly reduced vibration and harmonic resonance in the rods, which beats the hell out of the rod end bearings.

The greater prevention of vibration and harmonic resonance in the control system is having the control tubes at an opposing angle to the mast vice being parallel. The split should arrest additional vibration and prevent it from going into the lower controls.

Yes, that is correct. Nicolas developed a very nice, very light effective rotor brake system.
It is in his blood to create new ideas/things.

I like the white it really makes the blue pop!
For me a major bonus, is the control quadrant. I did not like the other two I've flown and had instruction in as they were just too small. These look professional!
I also like the seat not being the gas tank. I WILL fly many gyro's in the future with a seat fuel tank, because that is how most of them are. But I won't like it as much.
Too me it looks fast just sitting there!
I cannot wait until Stan finishes mine!!!!

This is the reason why a split linkage was necessary. As Nicolas explained
above the gray 582 has the started at the mag side. The owner of the engine was using it on a trike.

John Rountree (All In) went public and asked for any negative feedback any of us could have about the Genesis Gyroplane.
I leaped off my dial-up chair and was the first one to find fault. I love to take a stab at people sometimes. I pick the strong ones. This time I did not hold back. I told him they were all yellow and blue. All of them. This is terrible in my opinion. I am a painter pretending to be an artist, pretending to be a helicopter pilot, pretending to be a marketer. . It's a busy life..
As I awaited a reply somebody came up with a nice white one ,with blue of course .. . I actually like it. Very nice. I have nothing to complain about anymore. I feel like a lost artist now.
That's the best I can do John. If you ever export one to Canada , I would consider painting it. That way I could show the world how it is done (smile)
friends still I hope

Hi Arnie, I did respond in that thread, only removed it as it was misinterpreted by the author as not helpful.
I really appreciate all feedback. That is what is great about this forum, instant worldwide opinions, for FREE.
I remember when we had to PAY for negative feedback (marketing surveys)!
In the post that was deleted I asked for your help, designing a paint scheme for mine. I have one in mind, Stan is going to present me with one, and the painter a third.
I would appreciate help from you and anyone else who would like to play artist, go crazy and send them to me.
Maybe I'll mix and match designs? Stan's painter can paint anything.
Thank you Arnie for being a good enough friend to tell me the truth, anyway keep the feedback coming guys, it is the only way I know to provide the customer (not me) with what they would like! :peace:

Hey John. I don't know anything about deleted threads. Not an issue for me. It was tongue in cheek when I complained they were all yellow and blue. I like Genesis and was taking a feeble attempt to fault the color. That's all. Thanks. Now that I got you all warmed up ...
My paintshop refinished one of the first RAF's sold in Manitoba. Right now it is in Hungary or somewhere. I could look it up. Never mind that. Mostly I want you to know I painted it .
Corvette Yellow IMRON. 2 coats of Clear. No polishing required. Unheard of nowadays. Everybody sands out and polishes out the flaws now. My Final coat was perfect , or the public would never see it.
And yes , it was yellow. Corvette Yellow. The original one. I bet Scott Essex and a few others know the formula.
Thanks John, my comments are more about me than about you. This whole gyro industry seems to be coming alive all of a sudden. It is like an overnight success after 50 years or so. I just need to paint another one. It is the only drug I use.
There is nothing more rewarding than for a man to be involved with popular machine. To paint one is really something. There are many beautiful paint jobs on Gyro's. I am impressed by the talents in modern day. Very impressed.

Yup I like the original corvette yellow not the watered down version they had in later years.
Id like to see a Genesis in a candy apple red, and cream, that would be classic.
For really really cool paint check out this stuff. http://www.alsacorp.com/paints.htm
They have everything from glow in the dark, fire resistant, color shifting, chrome, you name it, even have paint for leather.

That blue and white paint scheme is very pretty Nicolas.
Giorgos I like the split linkage, nice touch. How about a folding mast next?
Scott that site has some pretty wild paints.
