Just out flying late today. I was chasing my shadow..but never could catch it. In fact...it actually was going faster than I due to the fact that the sun was setting. :D

Flying Eastward late in the day can frustrate a person like that. Awesome photos Stan. I've been a fan of yours since becoming a member here. Glad those new SportCopter blades are working out. I'll be flying SC blades & rotor on my Bee next year. By the way, didn't I see your ship at Mentone 04? If that was you parked at the end (outside) of the hangar, I wish I would have stopped to introduce myself and say Hi. Your photos are certainly an inspiration for us newbies.

All the best,
Brian Jackson

Brian: Thanks for the comments. I flew to Mentone in 2003 in my Air Command...and this year in my RAF. I was going to be at Mentone for four days this year..but that tornado messed up my plans. I was freakin lucky to get the two days I was there........but Mentone 2005....cant wait. I will definately look you up.

The very last one is in my screen saver now. The new avatar is great too, how did you get that shot?

Stan.
Please do, Stan. I would appreciate and welcome that. I remember the tornadoes ripped through your stairway shop, which made me sick to think about. If memory serves you rebuilt and ended up with an even bigger shop. I'm kinda recalling some of your posts, and you really kept a positive attitude through that ordeal. Don't know if I could have done the same. So are you back in business and in production? I'd love to see some of your staircase work. Any chance you could share some high-res photos?

Take care my friend.

Tim: My avatar photo was taken at the Shelbyville fly-in by Gregg and Steph Gremminger. Steph took the photo while she was on the ground. I was instructed to do a fly-by and bank around showing the top of the rotor. She caught it just right.

Brian: I have been in production shortly after the storm. I worked under a blue tarp and built my stairways. I had a new wing added on before I let the construction crews tear apart my original shop. They just finished yesterday.

I would be happy to e-mail some stair pictures...but I would rather not do it here as this is a rotorcraft forum... :D

It is so nice having the extra room and the 17 foot ceilings.

That's cool, Stan. I agree it's off-topic. Would still like to see your stuff though so shoot me an email.

Take care and be well.
