Dear all,

While wishing all of us a Happy New Year, i share with you our team pride to have finally received our Type Certificate for the XENON 2 RST.
After 3 years of deep work and financial investments, the Polish Civil Aviation has finally issued it.

A couple days ago was our factory certification.

I invite you to visit our website to get more details.

We believe this is a milestone in the gyro world, and we will not stop here to keep improving our product.
Celier Aviation and the XENON is now a strong signature in Aviation, thanks to all of you fans and owners to have supported us.

There is more to come this year, like the KISS ready to fly and in kit.
We will be in Sebring as visitors, to attend FAA meetings, to push and help re-open the door for LSA gyros that everyone is waiting for.
Hopefully our Type certificate shall convince the authorities that professionally done and certified gyros, have their place in the wonderful USA.

We have now opened a company in the USA, the mother house is in Miami, and as soon as possible will host machines, spare parts, after sale service, maintenance.
In Sebring we will have also a meeting with all potential regional C.A. dealers, wishing to be part of the C.A. familly. If you feel to join us, please contact us very quickly. We will be in the Sebring from the 20 to 23 January.

Thanks for your attention.
Best greetings, fly sound and safe.

Is there any development for the xenon as a kit?

Yes we think about it... but when we re-open the LSA door in the USA, it is less interesting, the XENON is really long to build 600 hours for us, 1 000 easy for a first time builder... People today prefer to fly than spend so much time to build. But the KISS coming very soon YES will be available in both modes.
At your listening.

Thanks Aussie and Why,

Support appreciated. More in the coming weeks, with our installation in Florida.
Let's pray that this important meeting with the FAA in Sebring will bring the door Gyro LSA opening.

Who is going to be your USA distributer in Miami??
What is his name?

It is us, directly. The contact of the responsible full time will be determined in the next few days. As well as for the full dealer network, maintenance places...
So we are open minded for good motivations, and serious proposals of regional representatives will be studied.

Raphael,

The Polish certificate obviously is impressive to regulators in other nations, but is there an EASA certificate you could earn which would by honored reciprocally in other European countries, and possibly in the US?

Or, is Light Sport Aircraft the only reasonable path for you here?

HI Raphael

I am curious, are there any comparable requirements between the Polish certification and certification in other European countries like UK, France, and Germany, Spain ??

Usually it is the British Section-T certification which is commonly accepted by many other countries as the "gold standard". Don't think a Polish certification will let you fly in many other countries automatically.

Hi back to Tony and Chris,

The POlish certification as i explained in my website, is based 100% in the BCARS-T + BUT + Polish standards. So our task was even harder, as we had to meet ALL standards...So we are actually working on making it available for the countries you mentioned. So maybe the Polish certification might become the new Gold standard... We did "suffer" but in fact enjoy the high level of this standard, as the CAA pushed us to upper limits.
To answer PW Plack, you are correct, and we are nw applying to the EASA certification. As encouraged by our CAA (ULC), stating that we have the level for it, and 90 % of the job is done.
Thanks for your support to all.

Congratulations raphael for THE certification.

THE kiss is a beautiful gyro. Are you going to offer it on floats as with the xenón?

To Ramon,

The KISS is in reality far better than our initial brochure, in terms of size, design and more... wait and see... Released in end March. No photos before for competition confidentiallity purposes.
Yes our genuine floats we make will be fitted in the KISS. I shall then even consider an amphibious version as we have weight to spare. Making it the first in its kind.
2011 is the Celier Aviation year. Lots of things coming up that is hard for me to resist to relate here, but i will resist... :-)
Fly safe and sound !

It has been a long time since I last looked at gyrocopters, what with work commitments but I see the FAA are still dragging their heels, shame as the Xenon looks superb.

We work on that too...

I hope you achieve something as the Xenon looks like a viable alternative to fixed wing LSA's to me and it would be great to have the option.
