You are so right! At Okeechobee, Fl. on Dr. Bs 72nd birthday we tried to get 72 of the 129 gyros there to do a fly over. Herding cat's was made to look easy! We did have a bit of wind that day however.

You'd need a Gyro with a lot more power than any I know of. Could be interesting????

I could do it with the GyRonimo....but the gliders would have to be the little balsa model type, I suppose. I'm not crazy about all those strings in the vicinity of my spinny things though.
