Lots going on within the Chapter in the past quarter. Gary Weaver has been flying his Air Command all over the skies in NW Georgia. Trell Norton is working through his ground trials. George Goff completed a new machine. Ron Iaconis has been fine-tuning "Gyro-1," and has new rotors. Greg Mills has been up to fly with the Cedartown crew from Carrollton. There are now 5 gyros based in the hangar at Cedartown.
The meeting will be at RMG. Expect the Cedartown crew to fly in around 9:00 AM, weather permitting. The Tennessee contingent generally get there much earlier (around dawn). The Alabama members are also typical "early birds." At lunch we'll all carpool over to the Landmark Diner in Rome for our Christmas meeting and eats.
Come one, come all! We don't have a lot of chairs, but there is standing room all over the place.

Bump!
Looks like good weather from the initial projections. Clear and temperatures in the mid 60's (F).

It was a great meeting. Despite the turn in the weather, the inclement weather gyro award goes to George Goff (ggfirestar) for bringing his new creation "Home Brew" over from Alabama. A very impressive bird incorporating the best of several gyro designs.
You may ask, "where are the pictures?" Well...there may be a few...but it is best to just plan to attend the next meeting so you don't miss out! :D

Was it a TOM TOM? a buddy of mine went to get a new top for his BMW, 5 miles from the place the TOM TOM turned us around and had us going back home, I noticed a store we had passed earlyer.
thankfully I had taken my garmin and it got us back on track and to the place.
Now garmin is good, just make sure your maps are up dated. as i have learned the hard way..lol
