Wanting to install a rotor brake for my monarch w/electric pre-rotator. Please let me know who is using what and how do you actuate it and does it work well? Thankyou thankyou thankyou. MJD

Martin,

Larry has already designed a rotorbrake for the Monarch. The cost is only $105 to get it straight from him so there isn't much reason to look for other options. The rotorbrake is activated by pushing the cyclic fully forward. It has about the same effectiveness as any other rotorbrake out there. It still takes a little time to slow down the rotors with all their inertia.
