I got no idea. I am just winging it! I plan to fly down in my Pacer to visit my aunts and uncles and cousins in Miami Florida a few days after Christmas and then stop in at Wauchula on the way back. Haven't even looked at a Calender yet to firm up dates.

Sunday is not the best of days. Saturday will be the best of the best. Richard and I will be there packing up we usually leave Wauchula around noon or 1pm on Sun. Most all will be packing and leaving so hurry there on Sunday. See Ya Soon MJ :)

MJ,
I was actually going to try to come to Labelle on 11-20, but just realized that I have a family obligation that day. If something changes I will be there and will join when I see you. What do you estimate my travel time to be from Bradenton, and what would be the best route to take?

Ron,

If you are coming to the New Year's fly-in, I'm guessing that you may be traveling light because you are flying instead of driving. If this is the case, and you need a place to crash, maybe I can help as I am planning to borrow my friend's motorhome.

GyroRon

Thanks Alot Rick, I will very likely take you up on the offer. I will be traveling light, but I should have my Wife and Son with me, unless they fall out on the way down! Still got room? We would only need one decent sized bed.

Ron,

I don't see a problem. But tomorrow I'll make sure and get back to you.

Ron,

That's an affirmative on the motorhome. Glad to have you and your family. When you know for sure, please let me know which night or nights you will be there. That way I can offer it to another friend of mine whenever you guys are not there.
It's been a great weekend. A guy I know offered to share his beautiful fully enclosed hangar with me for $75 per month. It's about 40 minutes from my house and is a 3400x130 nicely maintained turf strip. It comes with lots of tools and a nice restroom.

Then a friend of mine who restores old Hondas GAVE me an original 1962 Honda 50 that runs great. I'm freaking out. What a great scooter for a fly in.

MJ,
What facilities are going to be available for the New Year's Flyin? I'm hoping to fly down for a couple of day. Will the shower be up and running? Any place to pitch a tent and plug in a small heater if it get's real cold?
Curran

MJ,
I'm trying to plan my food situation for New Year's. Are we on our own, or will there be any food vendors there? Also, I'll be available to help Friday morning if needed.

GyroRon
12-22-2004, 05:13 AM
Rick I can anwser that for you.... We are on our own!!! McDonalds, Burger King and Wendys are all a short drive into town!

Curran, if you are like me and HAVE to have a shower when you wake up, maybe I can twist Ricks arm and see if he will let you shower in the RV. I know it is a smaller fly in and the showers won't be hooked up and in a nut shell it ain't Bensen Days....

Curran3

Ron,
Thanks for the offer. Just thinking about sharing a small RV shower w/ you has caused deep psychic wounds. I may never shower again.

John,
Sorry you can't make it. I hope to meet you at Bensen Days.
Curran,
You're more than welcome to use the RV shower. It will be good to see you again.

But somehow after all this discussion I seem to have lost my taste for that sacred aquatic ritual.
