I had Mark Knight fly to my airporttoday in his nice subaru powered Air Command. He quickly got my attention by doing some low level yanking and bankin over my house.l :D That machine has a hot little fuel injected motor in it.

Stan, that looks like a nice gyro. Did you get to go for a ride in it? Looks like it would be a very stable and fun machine.

Ron: He has that one..and another HTL single place Air Command. He said he would rather fly the single place because it is more docile. Just repeating what he told me..... :)
They are obviously two different machines...even though this one is CLT....it is also bigger and heavier and more of a cow. I am assuming that is why he likes flying the single place better...and not because of its HTL which we all know isnt as good. :D

The little low riding aircommand I flew was fine for straight and level and mild turns and horseplay. It probably would have scared the crap out of me on a gusty or a day with strong thermals. Plus just as you would have never felt comfortable with those RAF blades, I would never feel comfortable in a machine that could bunt on me.
I agree, any two place will be a Dog compared to a light single place. But it looks like that machine would be a nice one for cross country flights.
