Stan

Thanks so much. Your heli posts and Ed's pictures + Vance's flying stories are what I look forward to.

Thanks to you for sharing.

I have already posted these under flying video's, but wanted to organize them here in case someone in the future (after the flying video's fade to the past on that thread) wanted to see what at least this one Xenon flys like and has been able to do.

Very nice collection. I enjoyed the flights over the Keys in particular, now having been there myself.

Me too. The first video I made with my grandson Cody as the cameraman was a major memory moment. ( He was pretty proud of it too.) And like you said, it's the Keys. We were warm in March, in the Florida Keys, flying over that beautiful blue water instead of at home shoveling snow. What's not to like :)

Thanks Mark for sharing your flights with us, I enjoyed everyone. I do have a thought for you on your next flight. I cant help but notice reflextion on the windscreen when you shoot video from inside the cabin, try getting a cheap black bed sheet to cover anything that will reflex on the windscreen, ie.white legs ect..
Here in Florida we have alot of sun and I have found a black pillowcase across the dash takes care of all reflextion from inside the truck. Most people dont realize how much the sun is reflexting off the dash til they try it, I was amazed after a tip from a cop. Hope it helps.

Does it help even if the dash is already black?

it must be flat black, no sheen value. Fabric absorbs light. Plastic and other compounds still reflect.

Mark,

I've never flown into Pueblo. Is it a controlled field? If so I'm surprised they cleared you to land on the ramp.

Mark,

Yes, it is. There are 4 controllers, Approach and 2 Tower controllers on 2 different frequencies, and a ground controller.

This is the third different airport I have been cleared for the ramp, twice at Colorado Springs (Class C), and once at Denver Centenial.

Before I always was asked, and I opted for the runway. This time I was just cleared during the landing, and decided, "they have a huge open ramp right where I want to go, why not".
