Gyros near LA

I'm going to be in/around LA next week. Is there anyone around that owns/instructs in an MT or Magni?

I do not believe there are any active instructors anywhere in the western US right now with their own gyro trainers, except for Jim Vanek at Sport Copter in Oregon, who is currently accepting only Sport Copter owners.

The FAA does not currently allow light sport gyroplanes to be sold factory-built in the US, and Autogyro GmbH does not make its aircraft available in kit form, so there are no MTs here, with the possible exception of a rumored demo model being evaluated by a law enforcement agency.

There are certainly generous, friendly owners of gyroplanes who've been known to offer visitors informal rides, but instruction will be more difficult to find.
