What is the best way to step a Keel? I've seen some pictures of them here but am not sure of what material was used for the plating? Also what is the minimum clearance for the keel to ground before you step it back up? I may be getting an older RAF soon and I'd like to step the keel and put a dominator style in-line gear reduction drive in it. I figure that'd lower the thrust line about 6" maybe more. (The AAI mod would be nice but I'm vertically challenged in my storage space). Any help would be appreciated
