Pilot walks away from ultra-light helicopter crash near Westville

WESTVILLE – The pilot of an ultra-light helicopter walked away from a crash east of Westville on Saturday afternoon.
Vermilion County Sheriff Pat Hartshorn said the single-passenger ultra-light helicopter was piloted by Ricky Dunham, 52, of Covington, Ind.
He had flown from his home in Covington to a friend's house east of Westville, Hartshorn said. About 2:15 p.m., about a half-mile from where he took off, his aircraft lost lift and came down from a height of about 70 feet above the ground into a bean field.
Dunham received minor cuts and scrapes and refused medical treatment, Hartshorn said. The aircraft was heavily damaged.
The field Dunham came down in was near the intersection of Vermilion County roads 1200 N and 1700 E, about a mile east of Westville.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
I just found video on a TV web site. Not much to be seen, looks like a yellow enclosure, skids and a small engine with prominent air filter. There is a Mosquito dealer nearby.
