In some past threads I heard mention of Arliss Riggs and his tractor gyros. I didn't see anyone post anything about Mr Riggs and his gyros. I have pdf scans of the articles by Jim Eich circa 1977 but the file size is 857kb (exceeds the 150kb limit). How can I make them available to others on this forum?

Read those articles in the PRA magazine when they came out , had the pages dog eared from reading them so much. He made most of the fuselages out of plywood and fiberglass Hmmmmmmmm .

Arlis was a man ahead of his time with his rotors and construction techniques. He experimented with weighted rotor tips only seen today on a few more advanced gyros. The Cartercopter is one that comes to mind. He worked with composites like wood with glass and if he were still around he would be working with carbon fiber I'm sure. His collection of work deserves our attention.

Thanks Steve!
