If you need a pilot flight review please contact me.**

We may be able to set up a time to conduct the flight review at the PRA 2010 Convention at Mentone.

You will have to contact me IN ADVANCE.

Thanks!

**Note: what I am poking fun at is the biennial flight review (review every 2 years )that we don't call a biennial flight review any more, just a 'flight review' (even though it happens biennially).

Rumor has it the name was changed because of confusion with "Biannual" (twice a year)

I am still working that out.

What do you charge for a flight review?

Do you ever do them at conventions?

My hope is to work up some work for CFIs at the convention.

If no one else is willing to do them I will but I don't have a LODA yet.

Part of the idea is to bring extra value to the convention for pilots and also extra value for CFIs to attend.

My hope was to act as an "assistant instructor". I would get people lined up, make sure the paperwork is in order and if the CFI did not have time or wish to do the GS partition I would do that.

-In return pilots can renew at Mentone every year (good for people that don't want to travel to a CFI).

-CFIs can make some income at Mentone

-The PRA gets to offer a service to the public

-I get some experience from what I hope will be a variety of instructors so I can be a better CFI.

You're a real 'Prince' Tim.

Sounds as though you are really getting stuck in, good on you.

to Mentone, but it's 50/50 at this point. I really hope I get to make it this year, seems like my schedule never seems to cooperate. I don't have a ship either so I won't be actively CFI'ing at the convention.
