Merry Xmas everyone,

I was handed a product sheet today at my engineering workshop supplier, for a product called "Nord-lock".
It is a system of 2 washers with cams, that stop a nut or bolt coming loose, instead of having tabs or wired locking control.
Has anyone used this product?
There is also a web site that gives some good info, www.nord-lock.com

Regards
Christopher

Interesting,

It looks like they've been tested extensively for use in high vibration environments. I assume they are single use, it seems they would probably lose some of thier holding ability once you've backed a bolt off once. If they aren't terribly expensive they might be an interesting alternative.

G'day Todd,

Unfortunately at this time I do not have any further info, as to single or multiple use.

I will endeavour to find out, and post here.

Regards,
Christopher.

What's the matter with using a standard MS21042, AN364, or AN365 nut?

Nothing

Just looked like possibly an alternative. You know experimental builders...always looking for something different.
