Hi. I recently purchased a single seat Gyro with a hydraulic prerotator. I am familiar with the Wunderlich prerotator that is on a different Gyro me and my buddy share.

I have had continual issues with it not being able to bring my blades up to speed. I have 25' DW blades on it now. I have checked for adequate hydraulic fluid (all good). I noticed that after I tightened the belt it did improve. I went back the next day to try to run the blades up (belt still tight) with no success. I bought the gyro used and the seller relates he had run the blades up approximately 50 times with minor adjustments.

Is there something I am missing? Could the heat of the day affect this prerotator? Would a new belt help? Thank you for any help.

Not a expert on hydrualics, so the only things I could think of are, 1 are the pump and motor a "match" as far as gpm , 2 is there a reserve tank with a air bleed, 3 , are the hoses the right diameter to carry the gpm ?

What kind of machine is it? Some specifications and pictures would help.
