G'Day Gents,
Can the Aluminium Rudder Horn and Tube insert be removed from the AC Tail and replaced with Steel. How would one remove Horn and tube?
Further does anyone know of the internal structure of the AC Tail and could you post any relevant info?
Also given that the tail would appear to behave as a weather cock, ie, with a good deal more plate surface to the rear of pivot, than surface area forward, what is the likelyhood of the tail swapping ends? I would have thought that even with moderate to little airflow over tail, it would be fairly immune to such an event. Looking for any history in this area.
