Air Command Hydraulic Brake Question

I'm working on the AC and was wondering if anyone knew what brake fluid was specified originally by AC? My Commander has Nylaflex lines and what appears to be a red-colored hydraulic fluid. Any ideas on what it is? Any current products known to be compatible with the nylon high-pressure lines?

It is automatic transmission fluid.

I was hoping to hear it was ATF. Less chance for moisture absorption and corrosion, etc. Thanks for the info! Now to flush out and refill the system...
