Is a crush plate required on a 503 ultra white when using the large round plate that the pre-rotator rides on when prerotating.

Yes Russ, you may need to use one to space the prop away from the prerotator plate,
That way the prop clamp bolts won't be resting on the plate.

I don't have a spacer and the heads of the clamp bolts have plenty of clearance.
