suggestion for the forum

i just would make an observation and a suggestion ..
i noticed that when someone lauches a thread, often the first replies are right about the subject, but, as the replies come, the initial subject is a little forgotten , people disusses ...

could it be possible to keep the first post visible ? i dont know if its possible

i know you do a good work, dont see any bad comment, just a question

Victor, Its a good question, unfortunately I don't think I'm able to do it with this software. I'll do a little searching on the vBulletin support sites and see if anything like that is around as a mod or whatever. Thanks for the idea!

I'm using MS Internet Explorer, and when I hold the cursor over the title of the thread in the main list, a little window pops up with the first few words of the first thread. It takes a moment waiting for the window to appear, but may do what you need.

Yes I am currently at Air Command training students.

FYI Mike Salono is not at Caddo Mills anymore but operates somewhere here in Texas as a AFI under ASC, so you can edit that out.

I will be in and out of Texas most of the time as my home is Holt, Missouri just out of Kansas City. I will fly my AC tandem back to Missouri in the spring. Give me a strong wind out of the south and I will takeoff!

I am very busy right now down here and am enjoying meeting all new and old rotorheads. I hope I can help in improving the safety of gyroplane flight and improving the decision making processes of our new pilots to keep them out of trouble.

I will monitor this forum when I can.

thanks paul, yes its a good way to have a sum up of the subject.
lets say that when you see the final posts , they are often a little away from the original subject :D and a new person must read several pages to follow the line.. well thats a living forum !

You guys might try changing the "Display mode" It is in the upper right corner of any thread. It changes the way the posts are displayed. You can try 3 different settings. If you are reading this post, just scroll to the top of the thread and look in the upper right corner for "Display Mode"
