618 prop

i know its been a few months since i first asked the question as to what prop to use on my 618 powered two place parsons as built by mongomerie eng

well the weather here in the uk has not helped and ofcourse i had to order the prop from warp drive (a few of the members agreed that the best wud be a 4 blade 62" dia) i have to say thanks as i provided the same infomation to wd as i gave on the forum and they came up with the same answer

results
orig prop 3 blade 64" arplas thrust at 7000 rpm --- 340lb

new prop 4 blade 62" wd thrust at 6400 rpm--------400lb

(still think i can tweek it some )

i know figures at dependant on var factors -- but a 912 on a single seat with the same scales was measured at 420lb

so all in all i am very pleased with the change of prop
